colour, motion and structure on the underground

Zizy Kiss’s ‘Urban Reverberations’ series reimagines the daily commute as a vivid, high-energy visual experience, shaped by both her artistic practice and her day job as an Architect.

The colours are bold and intensified - neon pinks, electric blues, yellows, and greens collide and fragment across the image, evoking the sensory overload of rush hour. Through layered photography, she combines multiple exposures of trains, tunnels, and platforms, creating blurred motion and overlapping moments that mimic the speed and repetition of commuting.

Her architectural background is visible beneath the distortion, with strong lines, structure, and perspective grounding the compositions. The result is a dynamic blend of colour and form, where the Underground becomes less a place and more a pulse of movement and light.
