The exhibition “Urban Reverberations” proposes a re-evaluation of the contemporary metropolitan landscape, situated at the intersection between architectural rigour and the fluidity of emotional memory. Drawing on the experience of daily travel through London’s underground network, artist and architect Zizy Kiss transforms the flow of routine journeys into a visual celebration of everyday life.
The works explore the tension between recognition and abstraction: functional spaces become dreamlike territories, layered through multiple exposures and digital distortions. Perspective lines, passenger silhouettes and the rhythm of the tunnels dissolve into an electrifying palette - accents of neon pink, yellow and electric blue that translate both the sensory overstimulation of rush hour and the artist’s continued fascination with the city’s vibrant pulse. Repetition becomes a way of exploring memory: the way places are not always remembered as fixed images, but as impressions of colour, movement, light and people passing through them.
